Dr Tan Wei Chong completed his undergraduate studies in Dentistry at the University of Queensland, achieving his degree with honours. To further enrich his academic journey, he underwent training at the California Implant Institute, which helped broaden his practical knowledge of dental approaches. This combination of education and hands-on training enable him to offer personalised dental care plans that align with each patient’s goals. Dr Tan spent the final year of his Dentistry degree in Rockhampton community dental clinic offering dental services to the underprivileged and went through a mini-residency in Prosdodontics for his postgraduate training in Australia.

In addition to his academic and professional qualifications, Dr. Tan is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and Singapore Dental Association. Through his ongoing professional development, Dr Tan has catered to a range of patients, from children experiencing their first dental visit to adults requiring complex dental care, addressing a broad spectrum of oral health issues.

Dr Tan has extensive training in dental implant surgery since 2013. His training has been acquired through world-renowned courses, and he has successfully provided such treatments since 2013. He went through the Advanced bone grafting procedure course and All-on-Four & Full-arch implant course at California Implant Institute, as well as two years of academic and clinical program in the Progressive Orthodontic Seminars in 2017.

In his commitment to providing his patients with comprehensive care, Dr Tan continually upgrades his skills and knowledge through continuing education.
